About Universitas magazine

Universitas – magazine for universities – is a new independent online magazine about science, education, research and higher education founded by 14 Czech universities. In 2019 22 Czech universities are involved in the project.

Active since early 2017, Universitas is a professional magazine whose focus group is academic staff and other interested parties in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Readers turn to it for in-depth analysis, interviews with renowned researchers, comment and home and foreign news.

Universitas magazine is a platform for discussion on hot topics in Czech and Slovak higher education, such as the new reform of the higher education system, the financing of science, and the quality and ranking of universities.
