JOB DESCRIPTION:

The technician will join a new research group of Lenka Caisova focused on plant terrestrialization.
We study and compare aquatic algae and land plants using a wide range of experimental techniques to better understand the processes by which green plants came from water to land. I am seeking for a motivated technician to join our team. You will be actively engaged in research projects and taking a lead position in the lab organization. REQUIREMENTS:

Competitive candidates
• have completed at least bachelor degree in life sciences. More senior applicants holding a PhD degree are also strongly encouraged to apply.
• experience in plant molecular biology techniques
• knowledge of algal cell cultures is a plus
• have strong organizational skills, reliability and a sense of responsibility
• have excellent communication skills
• strong attention to detail and accuracy
• be a team player
• be interested in learning new methods
• should be fluent in English (oral and written)
